In an era when San Francisco was commonly referred to as “Baghdad by the Bay”, there was an uncommon man named Archie Brower who designed exquisite eyeglass frames made in Paris during the late fifties and early sixties. Artisan detail was applied to all his designs, many of which utilize heat set diamond back Swarovski crystals. This labor intensive process was done by hand, and by today’s standards would render them as” very expensive” goods.

The  Archie Brower Company considers themselves fortunate to have acquired Archie’s hidden treasures, as all of their frames have been perfectly preserved, and have never been worn. Some call it new/old stock. They call them “perfects!” Archie Brower “Authentic Vintage Eyewear” offers ten models in an array of colors from classic black and tortoise, to beautiful pearlescent finishes. They are all for women. ” Pour Les Femmes.” Each frame comes with it’s own microfiber drawstring pouch with Archie’s name on it.

The Archie Brower Company is located on San Francisco’s historic Maiden Lane, and looks forward to hearing from you soon. Remember, these are the last of their kind, never to be made again. “Bonnes Ventes mes amis!”
